Sniper Elite passes ten million sales worldwide
It turns out that people just can't get enough slow-motion replays of rifle rounds entering spleens - Rebellion has announced that its Sniper Elite series has surpassed 10 million sales worldwide. CEO Jason Kingsley announces the news in the video below, and thanks fans for their support. It's also the Sniper Elite series' 10th anniversary, and the studio is planning a month's worth of celebrations. What form this will take isn't yet clear.

UK developer Rebellion has advised its social media followers not to buy WWII shooter Sniper Elite V2 this week. Yep, that's right, a developer is telling you NOT to buy their game. "We'd advise against buying Sniper Elite V2 on Steam in the next few days," the studio posted on Facebook , "but we WOULD advise scoping out potential snipers to play with ... news soon." What could it all mean?

Rebellion has announced their Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1 & 2 has now passed over half a million sales, and are celebrating the good news for the spin off series with a 75% off discount bundle. It has proven successful enough that the studio now has console versions in development, which isn't just a "re-package of the first two games" as it has new content.
