The point-n-click adventure game Limbo of the Lost has been in a whirlwind of copyright theft allegations with entire environments pinched from other titles.
In response to GameSpot’s request for comment the dev team have issued an official statement that announces their ”consent and full cooperation” to recalls.
”In response to the shocking notification that some alleged unauthorized copyrighted materials submitted by sources external to the development team have been found within the PC game Limbo of the Lost, we (the development team) have given our consent and full cooperation to both publishers who are recalling all units from all territories immediately.”
Some of the artwork ‘victims’ include Oblivion and Thief, with the latter obviously offering an abundance of humorous irony. With their acceptance of the games recall it certainly sounds like they’re admitting to copyright infringement.
