The Maw creator has decided we gamers need ”lots of ‘splosions” and the only way we’re going to get it is with ‘Splosion Man.
While no platform or date is given for release, one thing is clear: ‘splosions are cool. Gamers will run around and blow the chunks outta stuff it seems, hopefully more will come from E3.
”Let’s just make a game where stuff blows up,” said Twisted Pixel CEO Michael Wilford.
Creative Director Josh Bear chimed in with, ”Yeah, lots of ‘splosions… like a guy made out of ‘splosions, and he’d be like ‘splode ‘splode ‘splode! and then things die.”
Now there’s a duo going places in this crazy world. The official site for the developer refuses to let slip anything but does say that they’re ”working with a signed publisher on a new IP that is really cool!” This is most likely ‘Splosion Man.
Twisted Pixel’s The Maw has released over XBLA and on the PC so this new ‘splosion fest could arrive on those two at least.
