A logo and concept art appeared on the Eutechnyx forums; just two images. The studio says an announcement is coming ”soon about our plans.”
EA Sports and NASCAR talks stalled and eventually the two went their separate ways. An anonymous posted on the EA forums declared that ”the next NASCAR game will be made by Activision and will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.”
“The release date will be two weeks before the 2011 Daytona 500. That is all that I currently know,” continued the source. Daytona 500 next year takes place February 20th.
Dave Thompson of Eutechnyx twittered: ”An announcement is being made soon about our plans.” The UK developer continued his hints with: ”if it is a NASCAR game, then we would haves a good selection of paint schemes per driver.”
Thompson also adds their upcoming racer ”faithfully represents the sport in many areas including car setup.” Naturally any racing sport needs extensive tune ups but NASCAR cars are specially geared for their billion and half laps they take.
We’ll have to wait and see what this announcement from Eutechnyx holds.
