This week’s Famitsu leaked the news, which claims the collection pack will be named Resident Evil Revival Selection HD Remastered Version. It will release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
While both games won’t contain any new content, Resident Evil 4 will feature Ada’s “Separate Ways” scenario from the PlayStation 2 version. Resident Evil: Code Veronica will be the Code Veronica X version, which contains extra cutscenes that the Dreamcast version missed.
The Resident Evil remakes on the GameCube outclassed the original release in every department, so it’ll be interesting to see what they can do with Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Personally, I’d love to see something done with Resident Evil 2, but there’s time for that still.
We’ve put a word in with Capcom to see if we can find out anything else.
