The studio promises WRC3 ”raises the bar” for rally racers, with over 50 official WRC teams and over 35 unique car models. It’ll feature all 2012 championship tracks powered by a new engine.
”The game includes a totally renewed lighting effects system that guarantees higher in-game standards,” said WRC3 director Sébastien Pellicano in a press release.
”The new engine, in fact, allows us to model lighting, particle effects and other real-world characteristics to create an in-game virtual reality, offering complete immersion in the WRC universe.” Fans of WRC get treated to the new Volkswagen Polo R WRC test car, Renault Twingo R2 and the Proton Satria Neo S2000.
WRC3 releases on Xbox360, PS3, Vita and PC October 12th.
