Ubisoft is working with a pop up communications agency for leavers of college from underprivileged backgrounds.
Founded by industry veterans, the agency will open in London for two months across the summer. Eight students aged 18-19 will work on the marketing campaign for one of Ubisoft’s major upcoming titles.James Hillhouse, co-founder of Commercial Break, said, ”The sad fact is that your background
still largely dictates the opportunities that come your way.”
“We want to make sure that creatively-talented young people, who just happen to be from under-privileged backgrounds, get the break they deserve. We really believe that the sort of young person involved in Commercial Break is going to bring a different kind of creativity to the industry.”
Once the campaign is complete, all of the candidates will be supported in their quest to find paid internships.
