Krome announce new Ty the Tasmanian Tiger

Australian developer Krome Studios has announced a new entry to Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and promises to spill more info soon. No platforms have been revealed as of yet for the return.

In 2010 the independent studio went through some downsizing but thankfully they’re still around. Krome also produce the Blade Kitten series. Their last release was Facebook’s Bush Rescue HQ.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger released way back in 2002 on PS2, Xbox and GameCube. A follow-up came in 2004 before stopping with Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3 in 2005.

They still have developers in Australia!? Sure they do - barely. The news of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger coming back broke over the recently re-launched Krome Studios website, where an image celebrated the 10th anniversary. ”Oh look.

There’s something new happening with the little orange rat!” teased the studio.
