The developer states that the game will be identical to the PC version (with the real money auction houses intact, presumably), but will understandably feature ”an all-new user interface, including an intuitive control scheme and a new dynamic camera perspective.” This will probably make up for the fact that players will be using a controller and not a mouse and keyboard.
Gamers heading to PAX East will get a chance to give the game a dry run as well. The convention will be in the Boston Convention Center from the 22nd March through to the 24th.
Interestingly enough, no exclusivity was announced at the event, so an Xbox 360 and Xbox 720 version may be in the works, but Blizzard won’t announce it til later.
