Some early footage has been released showing off food gathering as well as dangers to mind in Shelter’s uniquely visualised world. Shelter is on Steam’s Greenlight right now.
The more food we get into our little cubs bellies the more active they’ll become. The released footage is to highlight some of the key gameplay we can expect when running a badger den.
”As the mother of a litter of cubs you are forced out from familiar and safe surroundings to find new shelter in a beautiful, but dangerous world. The harsh reality of nature plays a pivotal role in the game whilst at the same time Shelter aims to pay a homage to the great outdoors and all its imposing beauty,” reads the Steam Greenlight description.
”In Shelter the player takes on the role of a badger mother who needs to protect her cubs from the dangers that exist in nature. The game takes the player on an emotional journey, and focuses heavily on creating attachment between the player and the badger family.”
Shelter releases on PC and Mac in late summer 2013.
