Rumour: Rocksteady developing 'Batman: Arkham Origins' for next-gen

The team over at Rocksteady Studios are apparently still donning the Dark Knight cape as they work on something called ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ for next-gen consoles. A report claims it’s a prequel.

It’s said to be inspired by the Silver Age comics and features Justice League notables Superman and Green Lantern. It will unveil at E3 and release this autumn, claim sources.

The rumours have come from French site Gameblog who say they’ve been in touch with someone ”close to the matter”, with it set in the 50s/60s era and uses Unreal Engine 3.

Warner Bros. has announced that another Batman: Arkham title would release later in 2013.
