Take-Two has revealed that Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV has racked up 25 million sales since launching back in 2008, and remained one of the publisher’s leading performers this last fiscal quarter.
The next GTA releases September 17th and is the third most pre-ordered title since records began at E3 2013 in June. The franchise has sold over 125 million copies as of November 2010.
The recent earnings report from Take-Two had GTA IV standing alongside Borderlands 2, NBA 2K13 and BioShock Infinite. They posted losses of $62m, which was ‘better than expected’.
