Gears of War and Jazz Jackrabbit creator Cliff Bleszinski has revealed that his new studio Boss Key is working in partnership with Nexon America to develop a new free-to-play shooter, codenamed Blue Streak.
Nexon has actually acquired a minority stake in Boss Key, as well as publishing and marketing rights to the new shooter.
On his official Twitter Bleszinski describes the title as ”a Free2Play Sci-Fi PC arena shooter”, which let’s be honest doesn’t sound all that interesting. Still, we don’t know anything at this point so who knows.
Cliff Bleszinski left Epic back in 2012, citing a desire for a new challenge. Then he went pretty quiet (as quiet as he gets anyway) for a long time, until this new announcement.
More on Blue Streak as and when we get it. You can check out the game’s official Twitter for the latest info.
