End of the Line is a fan-made machinima film set in the world of Team Fortress 2, and created using Valve’s Source Filmmaker programme. It’s pretty damned impressive.
To celebrate the release, Valve has released a brand new update for TF2, adding a new batch of content inspired by the film.
Check out End of the Line above, and marvel at the skills of director James McVinnie and his team (credits here). The update, meanwhile, adds new winter gear designed by the community, an inflatable pool full of oil for the Pyro, the Crossing Guard weapon , and some other “rare stuff”.
Proceeds from sales of new items and merchandise inspired by End of the Line will go to the content creators and filmmakers. The update is out now.
