There’s a slightly brighter spark of hope as Microsoft Studios has expanded a community poll for Killer Instincts fans, asking whether people think bringing the Xbox One title to PC is a good idea.
For the sake of the poll they say to ”assume cross-play is supported.” To avoid skewing the results, no one can view the results of the poll before it closes on January 9th, 2015.
”Because momentum seems to drive crowd behavior, viewing the poll results is now locked for 30 days. That doesn’t mean you can’t tell your friends to vote, but that you can’t react to being ahead or not!” posted Microsoft Studios’ Creative Director, Ken Lobb.
The original Killer Instinct was developed by Rare as an arcade game in 1994, and ported to SNES the following year. The Xbox One Killer Instinct was developed by Double Helix Games under the supervision of series creator, Ken Lobb. Iron Galaxy Studios now handles it post-launch.
Visit the rather lengthy ‘To PC, or not PC? That is the discussion.’ forum thread to vote.
