The remake of the original Abe’s Oddysee called Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty has just received a new gameplay trailer, having escaped the clutches of GDC 2014. It shows off the new HD splendour from Just add Water.
You’ll bear witness to the new dynamic visual effects, tightened gameplay and ”explosive new sound design” in this ground-up remake. JAW are confident it will sell at least 250k copies.
Should it sell like hotcakes then Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning says it should be enough to finance a whole new major instalment in the series, and not just a remake.
