Retailer GameStop teased a ”big announcement for a big game” yesterday, and it looks like it’s the reveal of a pre-order bonus DLC pack for Batman: Arkham Knight.
Batman News has uncovered a marketing image that confirms that the Red Hood Story Pack will join the similiar Harley Quinn pack revealed earlier this year. It’s apparently a GameStop exclusive. Predictable, but still. Boo.
Red Hood is a name that fans of the Batman comics will recognise, but I won’t post any spoilers here. Suffice to say he’s not usually portrayed as an ally of Batman. You’ll be able to kick people in the face with him and Harley Quinn, each of whom will have their own unique fighting style if previous Arkham games are anything to go by.
The Amazon description for the Harley Quinn pack reads as follows: “Utilize her unique weapons, gadgets, and abilities. Plus, contains 4 Exclusive Challenge Maps.” Presumably the Red Hood pack will follow a similiar template.
Batman: Arkham Knight was originally expected this year, but Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. recently confirmed that it has been moved back into 2015.
