Publisher Square Enix has announced that Ci Games’ action RPG Lords of the Fallen will be getting a ‘Day One Edition’ that contains new story content, new weapons and a copy of the game’s soundtrack.
All we know about said story content is that it’s called The Monk’s Decipher. An accompanying press release to the announcement say that it “offers more single player action, uncovering hidden secrets throughout the three worlds Harkyn explores in Lords of the Fallen.”
In addition players will net the Demon Weapons Pack, which contains the Margyr daggers, Thehk hammer and Ihir sword. According to the official website the only retailer currently set to offer the DLC for free upon pre-order is GameStop, but as the press release doesn’t mention it as being an exclusive we’ll assume others will be offering a similar deal too.
Another odd little thing; the DLC is apparently confirmed for PC, Xbox One and PS4 (check the image below), but only the current-gen console versions can be pre-ordered via the official Lords of the Fallen website.
Lords of the Fallen hits PC and current-gen consoles this October 28.
