So reception to the PC version of Watch Dogs has been rather… muted, in certain corners. Once again the thorny issues of Ubisoft’s DRM policy has reared its head, but players are also reporting various technical issues in-game.
In response to the criticism, Ubisoft’s Technical Director Sebastien Viard has posted a series of tweets covering the issue, ultimately confirming that the team are hard at work on a patch designed to fix the most common problems.
Watch Dogs can use 3+ GB of RAM on NG consoles for graphics, your PC GPU needs enough VRAM for ultra options due to the lack of unified mem

If you experience lag/stutter on a fast PC, try to lower one of those settings to reduce the GPU VRAM usage: texture quality, AA, resolution

At least Ubisoft are working on performance issues, but will it be enough to quell the tide of negative Steam reviews? Time will tell.
