Today the studio behind the acclaimed Gears of War series announced their newest game, Paragon. The website went up today, though little to no information is there. Nonetheless, first impressions are showing what appears to be a character-based shooter.
What we get is a minimal character introduction showing a hero apparently known as “Twinblast” who seems to be one of a few characters teased as playable in this game. Each of the characters that are grayed out right now have a date on them by which info will unlock. Clicking on Twinblast shows a snippet of what the character is and then introduces a choice that it would seem will determine an unlockable perk in the game, followed by an offer to sign up for the beta.
Information from an email that comes with signing up for the beta states that character reveals will come weekly and that Paragon is set to release on PC sometime in early 2016. The email also hosted links to the game’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
