We’re getting closer and closer to being the proud owner of an eye-patched wolf companion with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain due later this year on PC. Really that’s all it’s about - GOTY material right there.
Apparently it does have other features like hiding in boxes, shooting and global conspiracies. To prove it, HIdeo Kojima has teased an ‘alternate run’ of the E3 2015 gameplay demo is coming tomorrow.

The original gameplay demo showcased some of the customisation options we get, of which there will be many. The Phantom Pain is the first time the series is going open world, and we’ve be warned our companions can die if we don’t look after them in the field.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases on PC September 15th.
