Blizzard’s colourful team-based shooter Overwatch has just appeared on the Battle.net launcher, suggesting that the promised open Beta might not be too far off. Currently we’re expecting it in the Fall, but Blizzard are never ones to cleave too closely to strict deadlines.
You can opt in for the Beta here, for a chance to play whenever it actually turns up. Blizzard has also revealed another new character, the Brazilian support expert Lucio.
He’s a DJ and freedom fighter who prefers to use a sonic rifle in combat, and can pump his team up by playing music. His ultimate blasts soundwaves out at nearby allies, giving them extra shields.
