The next World of Warcraft expansion is called Legion, and it marks the return of everyone’s least favourite band of demonic hell-beasts, the Burning Legion.
Taking place on the new continent of The Broken Isles, Legion bumps the level cap up to a frankly ridiculous 110 (remember when it was just 60???), adds various new dungeons and raids, and adds a brand new demon hunter class.
The Broken Isles is a former Night Elf homeland that’s now essentially a wasteland full of things that want to eat you, and it contains the Tomb of Sargeras, a gateway to various Legion-controlled worlds. Demons are pouring into Azeroth once more, and it’s your job to sort it out.
The new Demon Hunter Hero class starts off at a high level ready to slot into the new content (much like the Death Knight did), and wields the power of The Burning Legion itself. “Demon Hunters can tap into forbidden powers at times of dire need, metamorphosing into terrifying fel forms. Focus on Havoc to demolish any who stand in your way with fiery demonic attacks, or specialize in Vengeance and go toe to toe with even the most powerful demons, withstanding massive punishment as their attacks fuel your hatred,” Blizzard writes.
You can find out more about the new expansion, which has no release date as yet, on the official website. Expect more information soon.
