Activision has announced the first downloadable content map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Awakening. The DLC includes four new multiplayer maps and a new chapter in the Zombies saga. It will launch first on PlayStation 4 before heading to PC and Xbox One.
The content includes:
- Skyjacked map
- Rise map
- Splash map
- Gauntlet map
- Der Eisendrachen - Zombies chapter
Activision also announced that the publisher was partnering with PlayStation to start the inaugural season of the Call of Duty World League, which actually began last Friday with pre-season qualifier events in Los Angeles, Cologne, and Sydney. The league will be offering a prize pool of $3M. Tournament matches are live streamed at CallofDuty.com.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III was released back on 6 November 2015 for PC and consoles. No release date has been set for the Awakening DLC yet.
