Pencil Test Studios’ claymation adventure Armikrog has been pushed back a few weeks. Rather than launching on August 18, as initially planned, the game will now drop on September 8.
”As we’re approaching the finish line,” the team writes in a Kickstarter backer update post, ”we’ve come across some details in the game that we really want to address. Some of the issues are about tuning, while others are straight-up bugs fixes.”
Pencil test says it will put out a more detailed update with more information on keys and rewards in the next couple of weeks.
For the uninitiated, Armikrog is a stop-motion clay animated adventure game developed by industry veterans Ed Schofield and Mike Dietz, with a lead character designed by Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel. Featuring voice work from John Heder, Rob Paulsen and Michael J. Nelson, the game follows the adventures of space explorer Tommynaut and his faithful hound Beak-Beak.
