Dying Light’s first major expansion pack The Following adds an area that’s just as big as the core game’s city of Harran. It’s a ”hazardous outback ruled by mysterious and fanatical cultists whose beliefs have unnerving connections with the zombie outbreak.”
Developer Techland has released the expansion’s first full trailer, showing off its custom dirt buggies, new crossbow weapon and some lovely countryside parkour.
Those aforementioned dirt buggies replace free-running as your primary method of travel, and they’re fully upgradeable and customisable. They even come with their own skill tree.
There’s no release date announcement just yet, but when it’s ready to drop The Following will set you back $14.99, unless you have a Season Pass, in which case it’s free.
