Dark Souls III is a few months off yet, so we have time to nurse our pride while we prepare for new soul-crushing defeats in the latest entry of the punishing hack n’ slash action-adventure series. In the mean time, we can make sure our PCs have the constitutions to handle the game. The system requirements were announced today.

These requirements come on top of the announced release date and special editions of the game. Dark Souls III is coming on April 12, 2016 as of this time, so there’s plenty of time to get your machines up to snuff for at least the minimum of these requirements.
That said, if you’re a fan of the Dark Souls series, you’ll definitely want to keep this one on your radar, as the developer has stated they intend for this to be the final farewell to the series.
