Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is coming ever closer, toting a next-gen brand of cooperative shooter set to rival anything done in the series before. In order to promote the series, Ubisoft has released a trailer featuring the phenomenal talents of Idris Elba.
‘Siege the Day’ was revealed on Ubisoft’s blog today. In the trailer, Idris inhabits and narrates the chaos of a live-action enactment of the game’s House maps as two teams carry out the counter-terrorism theme of the game in what appears to be something akin to the Hostage mode featured in the game. It’s explosive to say the least.
Along with this trailer are a ton of featurettes also featuring Elba that “elaborate on some of the game’s more explosive and destructive aspects,” according to the post. Rainbow Six: Siege is slated to have a open beta before its release that will take place from November 25th to November 29th on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Siege will officially launch for those systems on December 1st.
