An intrepid modder has gone out of their way to take all of the voice files from the original release of Resident Evil and create a new mod for the HD remake that uses all of the original laughably terrible voice acting. It has only recently been completed and released on a Resident Evil modding forum.
For better or for worse, players can now experience all the b-movie cheese of the original voice acting on the Steam edition of Resident Evil that was offered earlier this year. It’s quite entertaining to see the original voices set to the beautifully rendered HD remake, as can be seen in the video below.
