Codemasters are working on a third entry in the Overlord series, and they’ll soon be ready to reveal all, as the publisher confirmed today that they’ll reveal the first trailer tomorrow at 2pm GMT.
What we can tell you at the moment is the game appears to have four evil protagonists that you can take control of, which seems to suggest a co-op based top-down RPG that could be similar to the Magicka series from Paradox Interactive, although we won’t known for sure until tomorrow.
If you skip to the end of this Previously on Overlord video trailer from Codemasters, you’ll get a short glimpse of the first gameplay footage and the news that confirms there’s four protagonists to play as. Looks like Codemasters are taking a different route with the third entry if these early teases are anything to go by.
