Allison Road, the horror game described by its creators as a spiritual successor to Hideo Kojima’s deeply horrible (in a good way) P.T, now has its own crowd-funding campaign.
Developer Lilith is asking for the very modest sum of £250,000, which I imagine they will scrape together without too much trouble, given the cult success of P.T.
Just as in the game that inspired it, Allison Road traps players in a creepy, abandoned building with a malevolent presence, and then spends its time scaring the absolute arse off of them. The team behind it is comprised of industry veterans from games and film, who have previously worked on films such as The Avengers and Prometheus.
The current plan is to release the game on PC and consoles, though as the team is very early into the project they don’t have a release schedule just yet.
