Everyone loves to use the console to cheat. It’s where most of the fun of the game comes from, almost as much as modding. However, community manager Pete Hines is warning people using the console will foul up save files and may corrupt them.
When asked about having console commands on the console version of Fallout 4, Hines dismissed even using the console on PC:
@fortech_mike nope. use of the console is not supported or recommended on PC. that kind of thing isn't permitted on consoles anyway

Disappointing, of course, because the console is the only way to check out the special developer test area in the game. Of course, Hines’ response is basically legalese for ”if you break the game or your save file, it isn’t our fault.”
Fallout 4 was released on 10 November 2015, and earned an 8.5 score in GameWatcher’s review.
