Perfect World has announced that the 8th expansion for Neverwinter, Underdark, will be coming to the free-to-play MMO this coming Fall 2015. The expansion will see players getting to hang out with everyone’s favorite drow elf, Drizzt Do’Urden.
Underdark puts players into the Rage of Demons storyline originally published by Wizards of the Coast in the Forgotten Realms universe. The expansion has players working with Drizzt to defeat Demogorgon, the two-headed Prince of Demons. Other famous NPCs including Regis and Bruenor Battlehammer will also join in the battle. If that weren’t enough, fantasy author R.A. Salvatore, penned the MMO version of the Rage of Demons story.
