Tired of wandering around your municipal creations in Cities: Skylines like some kind of earthbound idiot? Rather take to the skies for a better look?
Well, technically I guess you can already do that. But to do it in style, you need to grab the Flight Cimulator mod and fly a passenger jet around in-game.
As you can see from the video above controls and such are a little…wonky, but the spirit is there. To be honest it reminds me more of zooming around San Andreas in GTA than it does of anything approaching a flight simulator game. Still, it’s an example of how creative the modding community can be, and how important it is for developers to give them space to create.
Mod creator Ulysius points out that this is very much a work in progress, and that players should expect more detail and “better simulation” in the future.
