In the video embedded below, you can see an errant flip tossed him under the sand in the Wasteland map, and let him tunnel all the way out from underneath the arena. Outside, it was pretty much sand and defunct ship wreckage - but with no apparent end.
Sadly, this expedition didn’t provide any answers as to who’s watching the rocket-based motorsports or if anybody’s actually driving these cars. Your fanfics about the dark history of Rocket League are still canon in my book, pal.
