Last night a tweet from YouTuber, @thaRadBrad, revealed that he had been sent a “gift box” of Watch Dogs 2-branded merchandise from Ubisoft.
The gift box had been decorated with a spray-painted version of the Watch Dogs logo with a “2” next to it and contained a pair of Watch Dogs 2-branded Ray Bans.
Ubisoft have not officially announced Watch Dogs 2, although due to their previous statements confirming a sequel before April 2017, many fans were expecting a reveal at E3 this year. Well, in this instance it seems as though the dog is out of the bag. Maybe we will see Watch Dogs 2 launching later this year to fill the void left by Assassin’s Creed?
Watch Dogs 2 is set to “surprise players with a new tone and with innovative hacking gameplay possibilities”, according to Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot. According to Guillemot, it has the potential to be ”one of Ubisoft’s best-selling games of all time”.
We look forward to the game’s seemingly imminent reveal at Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference at 9pm BST on 13th June.
