Every year we get to enjoy and celebrate all of the video games released within the past year. Regardless if the game was developed by a 1 man team, or an AAA title with a whole team, all games are celebrated. Along with the celebration, there are announcements and trailers to be shared. The Game Awards is a night where all gamers can come together and finally agree on one thing: Video games are awesome.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
Developer: Gearbox Software
Bulletstorm has always had a very dedicated following behind it, and finally the fans are being rewarded. Randy Pitchford, Gearbox president and founder, came out on stage with People Can Fly to wind up the crowd with speculation. Was it Borderlands 3? NOPE. Bulletstorm!
Anybody who pre-orders will be able to play through with Duke Nukem! Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be available April 7, 2017 on consoles and PC.
Death Stranding
Developer: Kojima Productions
As Hideo Kojima walked away with the highly honorable Industry Icon award at The Game Awards, he also released the second trailer for Death Stranding.
The trailer was definitely on the weird side as film director Guillermo Del Toro is seen holding a device that looks like a baby, which is probably a nod back to the first trailer seen at E3 2016. Later we see actor Mads Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen had been rumored to be working on Death Stranding, but there was never any confirmation.
The footage was showing from a Playstation 4 Pro, according to host Geoff Keighley.
Rocket League Starbase Arc Expansion
Developer: Psyonix
Psyonix is back at it again with a new free expansion for Rocket League, Starbase Arc. Players will be able to play against others in a fantasy, sci-fi themed arena along with a new car, the Vulcan, and new music by Hollywood Principal feat Dr. Awkward.

Guardians of The Galaxy: A Telltale Game

Telltale has been very busy, and we can tell with the announcement of Guardians of the Galaxy: A Telltale Game. With the announcement of Telltale working on Marvel property, and it was only a matter of time until we found out what comic it was working on first. Now, we finally have an answer.
If any of the past or current Telltale games are a sign of what is to come with Guardians of the Galaxy, then I am pumped! Guardians of the Galaxy will arrive in 2017 on consoles, PC, and mobile.
Dauntless
Developer: Phoenix Labs
Dauntless is probably a game new to gamer ears, but don’t let that discourage you. Phoenix Labs is a new studio founded and run by industry vets from Bioware, Riot Games, and other AAA studios. An online co-op fantasy action game shows off 4 different players fighting off enemies, crafting stronger weapons, and taking on the world that resembles Dark Souls.
Dauntless has only been confirmed for PC… for now.
Lawbreakers
Developer: Boss Key Studios
Cliffy B came out on fire tonight with the latest trailer for Lawbreakers. You can tell this game is aiming to take down Overwatch from its high horse, and there is plenty of action!
Lawbreakers will be released in 2017 for PC and will be in open beta soon!
Prey
Developer: Arkane Studios
Prey is Bethesda’s latest announcement, and it seems to be a great reboot. You play as Morgan Yu, a human on a space craft that has been taken over by aliens. The year is 2035 and with that, comes technology advancements. Guns are powerful and full of new technology, and new abilities are unlocked as well. Watch the trailer and you won’t be disappointed.
Prey is due out in 2017 on consoles and PC.
Shovel Knight Specter of Torment
Developer: Yacht Club Games
New content is coming to Shovel Knight, and it’s a prequel. Along with the prequel, the content seems to be a grittier, darker side to Shovel Knight that we haven’t seen before. The expansion will be available in 2017.
Halo Wars 2
Developer: 343 Studios
Halo Wars 2 is diving deeper into the history of the Covenant. Atriox is introduced, a Brute who rose up from the ranks to become a legendary warrior. Think about Atriox being a successful Gladiator, but he tears down all of Rome as he rises to the throne.
Along with the trailer 343 Studios announces that with any preorder of the digital version of Halo Wars Ultimate Edition will comes with early access to Halo Wars Definitive Edition on December 20th.
The Walking Dead: Season 3
Developer: Telltale Studios
Telltale Studios first lifted off with the first season of Walking Dead, and gained huge praise for the new art direction and original storyline. Now, A New Frontier brings us to season 3 where we meet Hobby, a new character in season 3.
A New Frontier will launch at the end of December on consoles, PC, and mobile.
Mass Effect Andromeda
Developer: BioWare
We have only been waiting since 2015 for some actual gameplay footage of Andromeda, and we finally got it! The trailer opens up to you and your team looking for a new galaxy to find a new home for humanity. Aside from the environment being gorgeous, it is also dangerous. You can run into uninhabited creatures, treacherous natural supplies, wild plants, and more.
The cities offer a wide range of options, and the characters are no different. Relationships and conversations seem to play a key role in Mass Effect Andromeda, no different than the past games.
BioWare fans who have been begging for new footage seem to be have left foaming at the mouth for more!
