There's certainly no shortage of collectible card games available on the PC market at this point. Since Blizzard put out the smash-hit 'Hearthstone', a lot of other big-name RPGs have begun to twist their lore and characters into a feasible strategy game containing nothing but pictures and a playing field.
So it stands as no surprise that Konami would attempt to crack the PC platform again. Since early attempts with the 'Power of Chaos' series in the early '00s, Yu-Gi-Oh! shifted more to the handheld market - with the occasional console iteration - leaving PC players with nothing but the borderline pay-2-play Yu-Gi-Oh! Online title.
Now, however, the once console exclusive card battler 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist' looks set to arrive on Steam before the end of the year. Buried in a press release issued for New York Comic Con, the Steam release will coincide with a large-scale update for all versions of the game.
It'll seemingly work similar to other games of the genre offering access for a modest $19.99 with additional DLC packs clocking in at around $4.99 a pop.
The full press release can be viewed over on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! site.
