Allison Road, the first person survival horror game by Lilith Ltd has been cancelled, according to the official Allison Road Twitter account. The Twitter account has promised to supply an explanation in the next few days. ”Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled,” read the tweet. ”Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this.”
Lilith Ltd first introduced the game on Kickstarter back in October. Alison Road managed to raise £145,959 from 4,482 different backers, however the Kickstarter project was cancelled days later as Lilith Ltd announced Team17 decided to publish the game.
Allison Road has been compared to Hideo Kojima’s P.T (Playable Teaser) and it seems neither of these games will ever see the light of day. We don’t know how much progress Lilith Ltd made with Allison Road, though the game’s release date was scheduled before the end of September so it must have been quite far along.
Team17 have yet to provide confirmation or clarification on Allison Road’s cancellation, but we will update this story with any new information.
