The reveal of Watch Dogs 2 should not be surprising to anyone as Ubisoft have not been subtle in letting people know it exists, to the point where they’ve been sending Watch Dog 2 branded Ray Bans to YouTubers. Anyway, Watch Dogs 2 is here, it’s real, and a site banner is the thing that has given us the first few hints of what’s to come. Clicking on the website banner sends people to the Watch Dogs 2 website, but the website is currently pointing to a countdown clock which will show the trailer once it launches.
So there’s not too much for us to analyse in this small banner advertisement, but we can take a pop at it anyway. The new character certainly does not look like Watch Dog 1’s protagonist, Aiden Pierce. We are almost certain this is a different character, though he appears to be sporting the classic Watch Dog iconic bandana.
Watch Dogs 2 looks like it is set in San Francisco, maybe we’ll see something involving San Francisco’s famous Silicon Valley. If you aren’t aware, Watch Dogs 1 was set in Chicago.
The release date for Watch Dogs 2 is scheduled for November 15th 2016. We assume it will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
