When it seems like all eyes are back on World War I, Kalyspo Media are pouring the hours into bringing the World War II RTS back onto our screens. In a new featurette posted to the publisher's Youtube channel, we gain a fascinating insight into how a freelance artist illustrates the battles we'll commandeer in Sudden Strike 4.
Watching brush meet canvas, we witness, first-hand, how concept artist Robert Simon gained the desire to create believable environments after working on titles like Rise: Son of Rome and Killzone 4.
Though the featurette doesn't include much in the way of new gameplay footage, it does give us an extended look into how developers and publishers thoroughly research their game's setting to deliver a title doing justice to the historic sacrifices made all those years ago.
Already available for pre-purchase through Steam, a 1-hour long look into Sudden Strike 4 during this year's Gamescom event can be viewed over on the Kalypso channel.
Scheduled for a Spring release next year, pre-purchasing earns potential players access to the exclusive 'Battle for Kursk' Skirmish map alongside digital copies of both the artbook and soundtrack.
