Keeping us going with consistent footage - and more from the demo - Capcom has issued three more harrowing gameplay videos of Resident Evil 7 to show us what life inside the Baker family home is all about.
With just over a month to go before release, Resident Evil 7 is looking like the true return to survival horror fans of the series have yearned for since the Resident Evil 4 days.
The videos all highlight the dark twists and turns you'll come across throughout the troubled home hearkening back to the days of the original Resident Evil's time spent traversing the Spencer Mansion's claustrophobic hallways in an attempt to dodge the zombies and escaped living biological threats.
There's plenty of shorter gameplay clips too, if you're looking for a quick dose of Resident Evil nostalgia
Spanning three three-minute long gameplay videos, each one takes us through a prominently different section of the Baker household as we're hunted, taunted and attacked by its problematic family members. There's echoes of Hideo Kojima's short-lived attempt at a Silent Hill title with a hint of classic horror movies like The Hills Have Eyes. Where exactly the biohazard part comes in isn't clear, but there's always some kind of Umbrella-styled root beneath that tree.
It's safe to say that these aren't the best things to be looking at if you want to preserve some of the thrills and scares of the game; but if you're looking for confirmation of how it plays - here's your answer. We'll have the demo come December 19 too.
