If you're around Stockholme in May, look out for another remastering - in physical form this time. The 2017 PDX CON is open to the public for the first time!
With the amount of information Paradox shares with its game-playing public through quarterly livestreams and in-depth PDF reports, it's surprising to think the company once barred the public from its media-only Paradox Convention past. But that's coming to an end with the 2017 event; and tickets are already available.
While there's the all-important 'Golden Ticket' for the Paradox super-fan, there's no silver to go along with it. Just a 'Standard' ticket. While the budget ticket will, of course, grant to access to the event, the elusive Golden ticket gains not only extra swag, discounts and everything the standard ticket enjoys, but a VIP Day at the Paradox offices with tours, meet n' greets and even a LAN party before the big day.
It may be over half a year old at this point, but our Stellaris review is as relevant as ever.
Paradox has had a good year. Focusing on titles like Stellaris, Cities: Skylines and Europa Universalis, you can expect a lot of announcements and hands-on gameplay at the event in May. Should you travel a fair distance to reach the event, the official page even goes into detail when it comes to explaining how to get to the Stockholme-based show.
Who knows how long tickets will stick around, but with it being the first publicly-opened Paradox event, there's likely to be a surge. Grab them while you can. The event itself takes place between May 13-14 2017.
