Operation Black Ice is the upcoming expansion due on 2nd February for Rainbow Six Siege season pass owners, and the official subreddit uncovered the two operatives who will be a part of the DLC. The operatives are Frost and Buck, from Canada’s Joint Task Force 2 counter-terrorism unit.
Frost, who is a Defender class, owns a unique skill that is titled Welcome Mat, which ”uses a mechanical trap to incapacitate enemies” Her primary weapon is the Super 90 shotgun, with a Mk1 9mm secondary weapon. She also owns a nitro cell gadget.
Buck, who is an Attacker class, has a unique skill called ‘Skeleton Key’, which ”toggles under-barrel shotgun attachment on his main weapon.” Buck’s primary weapon is a C8-SFW assault rifle, with the Mk1 9mm as his seconary and a stun grenade.
Ubisoft had stated it plans to release another six new operators throughout 2016. Operation Black Ice will also add a new free map, new weapon skins and unspecified gameplay upgrades. Non-season pass owners will be able to purchase it on February 9th.
