Indie developer Scott Cawthon has announced that the cutesy RPG spinoff of the animatronic horror jump scare game, Five Nights at Freddy’s World, is now available on Steam.
Taking a complete 180 degree spin from the tense theme restaurant control station, this RPG puts the killers in the roles of fluffy animal friends on an adventure. ”Take control of Freddy and the gang as they set out on a quest in the world beneath worlds, a world that reflects the actions and deeds of the ‘flipside’, where things have started becoming distorted and broken. Lead your team deeper into this digital world to find the source of these glitches and monsters, and restore it to what it was designed to be- a safe haven.”
Freddy and his friends have various powers at their disposal during combat, with such commands as “Birthday” (which buffs attack, defense, and speed for a little while), “Giftboxes” (which gives a gift to each party member to resurrect them at full life), and, of course, “Jumpscare”, which startles regular enemies.
The game’s system requirements are very light:
- OS: Win XP, 7, 8, Vista, 10
- Processor: 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon or equivalent
- Graphics: 1 GB
- Storage: 400 MB available space
