It took only 4 days for the Steam community to warm up to a game featuring the word 'Educational' in its original pitch, but the fabled Greenlight shone upon Odyssey permitting a 2017 release of The Young Socratics' new project.
If you're a fan of The Witness, Dear Esther, Myst or a combination of the 3, Odyssey should at least intrigue your curious brain.
Written by Eric Lindstrom - creative director on Tomb Raider: Underworld - the team behind Odyssey consider it "first-person adventure game with a unique educational twist". Puzzles require solid scientific reasoning and result in deeper teachings of its history as time goes on.

While the game has already far exceeded its original Kickstarter goal, there's 13 days left to throw your $10 at the devs a little early to secure a digital copy upon release. Odyssey is planned to arrive May 2017.
