As someone who has never dived deep into the Warhammer 40k, my favorite about the universe is the way the Orks cry out “SPOICE MAH-REEN” when confronted by one of the Emperor’s finest. So by my account, this update is exactly what Battlefleet Gothic needs.
But more immediately pressing is the game’s release date, which was announced today to be April 21. That’s soon!
Then, of course, we have the Orks hitting the game’s beta–open to folks who’ve preordered–very soon. As you might expect, even in space the Orks fight in direct, brutal melee, ramming their ships straight into the opposition.
In addition, it seems that another as-yet-unrevealed faction will be hitting the game in time for its release date. More details to come, certainly, but you can check out the official tease as part of a Steam community announcement.
