If you went ahead and made the most of the cheap Rainbow Six: Siege copy from last month, you might be waiting on news of the final DLC update much like the rest of the soldiers still blowing up doors and grappling through windows. Well, it looks like Ubisoft is taking the Twitter route to get the word out this time.
Though we'll only cite one as being official right now, there are actually two tweets pertaining to the idea of the final add-on pack whisking Tom Clancy's troops away to the land of the rising sun. The first, directly from Ubisoft, features some very moody artwork of what we can only assume is a crow returning to its nest. The accompanying text, in Japanese, we might add, translates to something akin to "Time has come" once you put two-and-two together.

The second, pulled yet later reuploaded by a quick-witted @JonKay20, is 110 seconds of pure gameplay from a clear, traditionally decorated Japanese-style skyscraper - complete with Japanese-speaking players. It comes across as a hotel of sorts using a whole lot of easily destroyed paper doors. Not really the best place to bolt-down during a siege. Or maybe the best?
Either way, it's hard to deny at this point. The second video runs its course while having 3 lines of alphanumerical code sit static over the image. What it means (if anything) hasn't been deduced.
When should you expect the official announcement? Likely very soon. A release date, however, likely won't be far behind.
