You could use our search bar to see just how much Focus Home Interactive have been in the news these last few months, and they're still at it into the new year. Collaborating with French studio Asobo for yet another release, we'll hear more about their latest venture next month.
With just a simple piece of imagery and a name to go off, we'll have to use our imagination for a little while to work out exactly what 'The Plague' really is. With a swarm of rats either chasing or running with the two characters in the artwork, we can hazard a guess and question the game's connection to the Black Plague of the 1300s. But with the massive gothic church-like building on the horizon, maybe it's slightly more biblical in tone.
Planned for both a PC and console release in the future, we'll get our first glimpse of the game at next month's What's Next de Focus press event in Paris. Currently wrapping up pre-production, we likely won't see the finished product for quite some time.

"Collaborating with Focus Home Interactive on a new, original creation of our team is a major step in the development of our studio," says Sebastian Wloch, CEO of Asobo. "For this ambitious project, we needed the full support of a strong and growing publisher. The Focus team, through their professionalism, enthusiasm and openness, have naturally established themselves as the ideal partners to bring the experience we wish to offer to players. "
Surround yourself with the single piece of concept art and wait patiently for the February 1st reveal. They're planning more information releases over the course of the month, so we'll get the bigger picture in due course. There's no video footage yet, of course, so here's another one of Focus Home Interactive's upcoming games.
