With around 2 weeks to go until launch, it's only natural to expect a few gameplay examples from Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach. Slitherine Games delivers the goods with this rather static trailer.
Spinning the long tale of the dark era and the endless war Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach is a simple enough turn-based strategy title unlike the more active real-time war simulations seen in the Dawn of War series.
It's likely difficult to demonstrate a turn-based title through a traditional gameplay trailer, but Slitherine Games have taken the opportunity to showcase the weapons and infantry you'll be using against the green-skinned orcs when the game launches January 19.
How long will it take the OpenIV team to import GTAIV into its sequel? Probably a while
From simply shooting them down with light infantry bolt rifles to upgrading to a more potent flamethrower, the everyday joe of the Space Wolf army will need to prove his worth before being allowed access to the fiery goodness of a classic scorcher. Missile launchers can be used against heavier iron-clad opponents while BloodClaws and SkyClaw platoons will go in for the close-quarters kill. And when in doubt, be sure to roll in your selection of weighty vehicles - a tank is a man's best friend, after all.
You won't get to see many of the Orcs fighting back, but at least you get a nice, gravely description of each way to shoot them dead. Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach will unlock through Steam Janaury 19.
